Weblogics enters the Web 2.0 world with IntraLogic Enterprise

IntraLogic Enterprise, the latest product to emerge from the Weblogics product suite, is now available. Corresponding with the release of Version 8 of IntraLogic with its new Web 2.0* feature, IntraLogic Enterprise uses the same base code set to provide the same end-user experience as Intralogic Version 8, but offers higher performance by taking advantage of high-end hardware and infrastructure.

Intralogic Enterprise is compatible with ColdFusion’s latest high-end web engine, ColdFusion Enterprise. It is designed primarily for customers with multiple servers, i.e. where database, document stores and web delivery takes place on separate computers, or, where firewall technology prevents all processing taking place on a single computer.

Enterprise also supports 64-bit architecture and multithreading, providing faster processing in very high load computer environments.

“IntraLogic Enterprise allows our customers to store and search a greater number of documents, as well as place documents across multiple servers. It provides the same feature rich functionality as the standard IntraLogic product, but scales higher for very large content clients such as banks and financial institutions ”, says Jon Harris, MD of Weblogics.
